9-10-2008 Climate Controlled v. Outside Storage
September 10, 2008
As we move into fall and the weather begins to change, I am reminded of why climate controlled storage is so important. After a summer of outside storage, possessions have been exposed to varying degrees of humidity and heat. As the temperatures change and the air becomes more dry, goods that have been forced to absorb this moisture and heat are stressed when they dry and contract. If you are storing a car or a boat, that is not a problem. If you are storing furniture, records, keepsakes, clothes, antiques, memorabilia it is a huge problem. Think Bast Storage in Sedalia, Pettis County, and central Missouri. By conditioning the air, we control the humidity as well. It changes your storage results for the better.
